It Wants Out captures the moment when whatever has been hiding beneath the surface finally breaks through. A distorted figure stares upward with blank white eyes as a second hand reaches out from inside his mouth, turning the body itself into a doorway for something that was never meant to escape.

Rendered in a rough linocut-inspired style with heavy black carving, distressed texture, exaggerated perspective, and a blood-red circle looming behind the figure, the design has the feel of an old horror print dragged into something much more surreal.
