Behind RINRON
TWO BROTHERS, ONE QUESTIONABLE IDEA.
Somewhere between horror, heart, games, bad jokes, and too many ideas, RINRON™ happened.
We’re DJ and Aaron—two brothers with different brains, overlapping obsessions, and a shared inability to leave a strange idea alone. RINRON grew out of the things we already loved: horror, peace, nerd culture, absurdity, satire, and the kind of designs we wanted to wear but couldn’t find anywhere else. So we started making them.
RIN
Darrin “DJ”
THE WALKING CONTRADICTION
A hippie soul, a bleeding heart, and a mind containing considerably more chaos than is probably necessary. DJ can cheer during the kill scene in a slasher and spend the rest of the night wondering why people can’t just be better to each other.
The contradictions don’t stop there. Old-school blues one minute, deathcore the next. Bright colors and dark imagery. Sincere ideas and very stupid jokes. He tends to like things that should probably cancel each other out.
Give him a tabletop RPG, a pile of dice, an unnecessarily complicated game, or an idea that probably shouldn’t become a shirt, and he’ll be occupied for a while. Usually much longer than originally planned.
DJ has opinions, but he’s not especially interested in shouting them across the room. He has a pretty firm sense of right and wrong, prefers facts over outrage, and would rather have a rational conversation than win a volume contest. He’ll say what he thinks when it matters—he’d just prefer the world come out of it a little kinder.
When it comes to design, everything is perpetually one tiny adjustment away from being finished. History has not supported this theory.
Peace and horror. Optimism and cynicism. Tabletop nerdiness and strong opinions. Sentimentality and stupidity. The Walking Contradiction is less a nickname than an operating system.

THE RESIDENT GORE ENTHUSIAST
Aaron has always had a healthy appreciation for unhealthy amounts of horror.
Slashers, monsters, practical gore, creature features, zombies, apocalypses, things crawling out of places they absolutely should not be crawling out of—if a movie, game, or idea gets dark, bloody, creepy, or wonderfully disgusting, there’s a good chance he wants to see where it goes.
Zombies remain a particular specialty. Movies, games, survival scenarios—apparently decades of undead entertainment have still failed to exhaust the subject.
But horror is only part of the machinery. Aaron also loves puzzles, riddles, video games, computers, obscure trivia, and anything complicated enough to make him stop and figure out how it works. Strange facts have a habit of moving into his brain and never leaving.
His sense of humor tends to wander into the same territory: dark, ridiculous, occasionally gross, and especially interested in what happens when horror stops taking itself seriously. That combination naturally pulls his side of RINRON toward the darker corners—horror, the undead, twisted jokes, strange puzzles, nerdy rabbit holes, and ideas that probably sound a little questionable before they somehow start working.
If it’s clever, creepy, bloody, puzzling, obscure, ridiculous, or populated by the undead, The Resident Gore Enthusiast is probably already interested.
Horror and heart. Peace and gore. Games and music. Dumb jokes and serious ideas. Strong opinions, strange obsessions, and designs that probably shouldn’t work together—but somehow do.
Neither of us stays in one lane for very long. Put both of us together and things get even harder to categorize.
RINRON is what happens when all of that collides.
Stay weird. Stay human.
